Hosanna Revival - Seeking the Beauty Inside & Out

The first time I walked into Filament, I thought, “WOW. This has to be the prettiest coffee shop I’ve ever been in.”. It made me want to come back immediately and spend as much time there as possible. I’ve heard the same sentiment from many of our customers over the past months of working here. It’s something so special to have a space look as welcoming as it feels, and it’s something we at Filament want every person to notice when they walk through our doors!

Katie Guiliano, founder of Hosanna Revival, felt the same way about the Word of God. To her, the Bible isn’t just a book. It’s a safe space, a comforting set of stories and advice for when she needs help. In 2015, while studying abroad in Spain, she decided to repaint and rebind her personal bible to make it look on the outside how it made her feel on the inside. It turned out so special that she decided to do the same thing as gifts for a few of her friends and family members. It made such an impact that she continued and built a business out of it, thus becoming Hosanna Revival! Using it as a way of reaching the lost and sparking a new joy in long-time believers, Hosanna Revival started reaching retail spaces in 2017 and has been going strong ever since.

If you’ve been in Filament recently, you may have noticed their line of bibles, devotions and scripture journals on our shelves. We immediately fell in love with their mission and their vibe and knew we had to bring it to our little corner of Mebane! We currently carry a select few designs in their leather-like bibles in ESV, CSB and NLT translations, as well as five of their devotionals focusing on different parts of scripture.
